Have you ever wondered what a cymbal actually experiences when a drummer hits it with her drumstick? What about what water looks like when a pup shakes after taking a swim?
Well, thanks to "Vibrations," a video released earlier this month by the Fluke Corporation, a Washington-based company that specializes in making tools to detect vibrations, now we know.
The company teamed up with Propadata Films to film some [relatively] ordinary things at 1,000 frames per second. They used the Phantom HD Gold, a specialty high-speed camera, to create the promotional video.
The result is pretty cool.
