Clearly, there is a magic hen in Rochdale, England. Or so it would seem, since English cake maker Charlotte Matthews was shocked to find 29 double yolked eggs out of a box of 30 she purchased. Matthews told the Rochdale Observer that she was absolutely astounded since she cooks with "probably thousands of eggs" in her line of work and had never before seen twin yolks.
The chance of getting a double yolk egg is about one in one thousand, the Observer reported. Matthews told the publication that she will probably bake a cake with the super eggs, but woders if there is some sort of "super chicken" out there who made it all happen.
