Travel Booking Site Hipmunk Adds Wi-Fi Search

Would you book a different flight if you were certain it had wireless Internet on it? That's what the web savvy folks at Hipmunk are betting on.

The flight search engine, popular for its simple airfare comparison tools, announced on its blog this week that it would begin including whether or not a flight comes with Wi-Fi.

During the search, the results bar that includes flight time and airport information will also show a Wi-Fi symbol for those with Internet, continuing their tradition of making people happy.

Along with punchy aesthetics, an adorable mascot and a roster of smart tools, Hipmunk boasts an office full of Internet intelligensia, with co-founder Steve Huffman, and several other staff members, previously of Reddit.

Missing from the story is whether or not they include the "free" category in their results. That's the only category that I care about. And if you use a debit card to pay for it, the Fed today made it possible for banks to charge pretty much what they want for that swipe fee. So you pay twice, in reality.

Exactly. Surprised that more people don't know about Kayak. I'm a recent convert and annoyed that it took me so long to find it!!
