Wine Fight Hosted By Town Of Haro In Spain (Video)

It's like a water fight for grown-ups.

Revelers in the town of Haro in Spain's La Rioja region celebrated a traditional festival by dousing each other with red wine, the BBC reports.

Residents of the wine-producing region used more than 50,000 liters of wine in the wine battle, which is traditionally held on June 29.

Well the biggest wine producing city in the U.S.A needs to start this traditional festival so we can chill out. Maybe we can add it onto St Patrick's Day.

At age 74, I've had a few different kinds of drinks in my time--(not too many anymore)--and have over-imbibed on occasion. Early on it was a ton of beer starting around 16--legal age 18)-- but the most "interesting" times were nights of too much vino. The buzz you get from wine is like none other, and I can imagine those spaniards having a ball over there with all that fruit juice- How I admire them!
