Halperin A Repeat Offender? Analyst Used Vulgarity On-Air While Discussing Obama In 2008

After being suspended from MSNBC Thursday for calling President Obama "a d*ck" during "Morning Joe," a similar gaffe Mark Halperin made in 2008 has come to light.

Inside Cable News was alerted to an incident three years back on a Sirius radio show where Halperin called Obama "a p*ssy" while describing Sen. John Edwards' opinion of the then-candidate.

From The Phoenix:

HALPERIN: [discussing John Edwards' potential endorsement of Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama]: I can tell you, he's really skeptical of her ability to be the kind of president he wants. But, he kinda thinks Obama is... He thinks Obama is kind of a p*ssy... He has real questions about Obama's toughness, his readiness for the office.

Similar to this week's gaffe, Halperin also issued an apology for the 2008 slip-up, deeming it a "lapse in judgment" and adding, "It won’t happen again."

Halperin obviously has issues with the President. That's fine if he weren't a JOURNALIST.
MSNBC should fire him or move him to an editorial department. No RESPECTABLE news organization should have man like this calling himself a member of the press on staff.

halperin wrote a book that was basically 'made up' and used it to create a mini-celebrity status that includes a stint on morningjoe (how mini can you get?), but basically he has always been this 'britebart/colter' kind of talker.
