Yesterday was an eclectic one, as New Yorkers began to ease into the languor needed to enjoy 4th of July weekend.

The High Line played host to a Summer Party presented by Coach Men's Collection, which drew the likes of Penn Badgley, Paz de la Huerta, Charlotte Ronson and other fashionable fixtures.

The Roni Horn opening reception at the Flag Art Foundation included something very whimsical dance moves from the gallery dancers aptly named the Gallerinas.

What else? Beyonce surprised some Harlem kids at Target, Alicia Keys played what appeared to be the set for the "November Rain" video and workers continued to pull One World Trade Center into the sky.
