LeBron James Dunks On Kid, Knocks Him Down At Basketball Camp (VIDEO)

First Posted: 07/01/11 02:02 PM ET Updated: 08/31/11 06:12 AM ET

LeBron James made an appearance at a summer camp this week and had some fun with the campers during a friendly game of knockout. In the clip above, the Heat star misses a shot, runs to retrieve it and tries dunking it before one of the kids makes his shot. LeBron ended up dunking over the kid and knocked him down in the process. The other campers playing got a huge laugh as James walked over to help him up.

Later, the kid posted a message on his Facebook page saying, "Got dunked on by Lebron :-( but he gave me his shoes so its alll good broo."

He didn't dunk on the kid. He likely didn't even see the kid until he ran into him.

That has a cool story to tell for the rest of his life, and video to prove it; I'm sure he wouldn't take that moment back for anything.

If you ain't been posterized, you ain't been playing long enough. I got my clock cleaned by Jon Stockton when I was at his camp-truly an awesome memory to this day.

What a great story for the kid to tell the rest of his life!

Predictable, you badminton fans know nothing about basketball. That kid will be the most famous kid in school next year, and in a good way.

Hey Mavs fans and Heat haters guess what? Lebron is still the MVP of the league (unofficially) not Dirk. Cuban would trade two or three Dirks for one Lebron. You guys suck your teams suck and if I meet one of you on the court your get getting dunked on for being an ideeeiot. You can expect such statements anytime that HP throws you a morsel of Lebron's flesh. So erase that corny Lebron one liner from your stuupid mind and prepare yourself for Heat domination next season. Ha Haw.

Dallas should definitely be the favorite to win it again next year. They are the defending champs and they'll get back a healthy Caron Butler for next year's run. There is not much of a chance that the Heat will be able to add a player of Butler's caliber by next year. I don't blame you for supporting your team, but be realistic bro. Lebron can be MVP of the regular season. Leave the Finals MVP for guys like Dirk (and Wade for that matter), who show up in the 4th qtr.

question is will get that ref bias back. It was a gift. although Lebron did not play well was defended well the ref had an in impact during critical moments in a t least three games one of which the Heat won (game 3 loose ball foul mania against the Heat). Worst call in the series Chandlers foot on the line= Lebron offensive fouls minus 2 or 3 points in the 4th game 4 very winnable for the Heat. I would'nt be surprised to Dallas make a 1st round exit. The will only be older. Chandler, Butler both resigned??? Even if they were I think the Heat would still be a better more focused team with a less complicated rotation than last season provided the center position is addressed. Maglore, Damp, and Z were likely defensive liabilities but Still would liked to have seen them at least get a shot at playing in the Finals if for nothing else than to deliver fouls.

It is basketball. People get knocked down. Stop wasting our time with these non-issues. Your tabloid feel is disheartening.
