Prince Albert & Charlene Wittstock's Wedding Continues With Dinner & More Fireworks (PHOTOS)

After Friday's civil ceremony and Saturday afternoon's religious wedding, Monaco continued to fete the union of Prince Albert and Charlene Wittstock with a dinner for 450 guests prepared by chef Alain Ducasse at the Opera House terraces.

The newly-crowned princess swapped her off-the-shoulder Armani Privé gown for a tiered and embellished creation by the same designer. The rest of the mainly-royal attendees followed sartorial suit, leaving behind their daytime looks for elaborate evening wear ensembles.

She is a beauty no doubt but why does she always look stressed. Sure he is a billionnaire with a reputation for the ladies of course he is going to fool around ... he has the cash, opportunity and desire ... and she must know that by now because everyone else does. It is a simple deal provide an heir in return she gets social standing, unlimited wealth and a future for her kids ... sure its a sacrifice but we all have our choices. I bet his lawyers are giving her a hard time over prenuptuals ... she has a reputation for doing a runner and he has a reputation with the ladies ... a real headache for any lawyer ... she would have had to sign her life away ... now thats stress.

the difference in the smiles between catherine middleton and charlene wittstock is incredible. one looks sincerely happy, the other totally miserable.

i have never seen a more unhappy looking bride. nor a more smug looking groom. something's not right in the palace, folks.

She found out about another illegitimate child of his. That man keeps getting the ladies pregnant. Supposedly, she wanted to call the wedding off. I think she might be pissed at him in the photos. However, she looks like that in most of her photos.

She dated him for 5 whole years.....She knew his reputation. I suppose the last scandal did her in--to know she would have to share is billions with not only 2 illegitimate kids, but a possibly 3. And two for women of color at that.

Also, she does look unhappy. She does not have a pretty face. She should know how to laugh. Her eyes are cold as ice.

Make that four kids. He got one case thrown out of court. Why doesn't he wear a condom for chrissakes? She knew that she would have to share the inheritance with his children because Monegasque law is similar to French law. You can't disinherit your children and your children are joint heirs along with your spouse. When my husband dies, our children and myself will be joint heirs and his estate will be divided three ways.

Money, social standing and her kids future. Realistically she is beautiful but there are a lot of beautiful women - she is a failed swimmer without a college degree - she could be a model but thats a deeply insecure life ... her parents are undistinguished ... and he is probably very persuasive despite his reputation and looks. Trapped comes to mind ...

If Albert had died with no legitimate heir, the throne would have passed to his sister Caroline. Monaco would not have reverted to France. The Constitution of Monaco was altered in 2002 to modify the line of succession. Currently, upon Albert's death, his eldest legitimate son would inherit the crown (or Albert's eldest legitimate daughter if he had no sons). If Albert died with no legitimate heir, the throne would pass to Caroline. The line would continue with Caroline's children Andrea, Pierre, Charlotte, Alexandra, and then Stephanie and her children Louis and Pauline.

I watched a short clip of their I do's. Man! was that awkward. No eye contact. That short kiss looked as if touching lips would give them both VD. He's been a playboy all his life fathering children out of wedlock. She married him for the glamour, prestige, and money. This was no fairytale wedding.

OMG! I just watched the film listed in one of the previous postings! Is she crying because of the lyrics? The stress of the moment? She appears to be very stressed out! And, they do not seem like tears of joy! And, he certainly does not seem like a comforting sort, to say the least! Did he at least give her the hankie? She never looks up at him and he is smiling at someone off on the side. He looks like he's admonishing her for crying! One can guess why she would marry someone 20 years her senior, paunchy, not particularly good looking and, thus far, with 2 acknowledged out-of-wedlock childen. Could she really be in love with him?

I also watched the film after reading the previous post . I am shocked! She looks about to faint with stress. He looks like a prepotent, arrogant unlikable person very mad at her for crying. I really feel very sorry for her. There is more to life than fame and money.....I will be on the look out for the divorce news.

Living in Europe I watched the wedding direct and it broke my heart and left me totally depressed. Charlene looked miserable, miserable, miserable.. I wonder what kind of stunt he pulled to force her into marrying him.. it was so obvious she so did not want to be there, and when she started to cry, it was obvious those were not tears of joy. I hope she gets her marriage annulled (although I doubt she would succeed - Remember the Kennedy story and their power over the Catholic church in MA? and hence the Vatican..) and if she has kids he wil get sole custody... and following her reported aborted attempts to escape... this wedding was more like some sinister enactment than a union of two lovers. Swim Charlene, swim......

Sorry but what makes you think he'll get sole custody if they have children? They'll probably get joint custody. This isn't the dark ages. They don't have to get the marriage annulled. They can get a divorce. they had the mariage civil first. The marriage in the church is just ceremonial but means nada. The civil marriage is the important one. Once that marriage is dissolved it is over baby.
