Yeah because the drone attacks in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Yemen worked so well. These drone attacks create more enemies then they take out. As much as I would love to see Al-Shabaab taken out, drone attacks will just make them more popular and stronger.

""But is justice divisible? Can it be selective? I ask because it seems clear that a lesser standard of accountability is applied in the case of crimes committed in the region by people other than Arabs, especially Americans, British and Israelis" (...) 'It seems reasonable to ask for political and legal accountability for 225,000 deaths, 7.8 million displaced people and refugees, and some $4 trillion wasted. Or is this unrealistic, because angry white men in Washington and London enjoy immunity from accountability, and can respond with impunity to the crimes of 9/11 with their own much larger and more costly crime spree? Is this imperfect justice, or neo-colonialism, or a bit of both?'"

Washington DC, the insane asylum for the universe. War over prosperity, war while we witness the destruction of the middle class, war over the futures of our children, even more war while we are forced to listen to those that want to cut the safety nets for the elderly. It is time we define who will be in charge of this asylum as we continue our journey along the pathway to history.

If they can track one cow in herds of millions for mad cow disease, why can't they track those U.S. citizens who go to Somalia and train with al Qaeda? Identify them and then don't let them back into the U.S.! Simple!!!!!

After all, DHS through its watchdog TSA is great at doing searches and pat-downs of grandmothers with cancer, babies and small children, others with medical problems so I am sure they can keep these people out of our country.

Agreed, MN21......Here we are, a nation teetering on the brink of economic disaster, and yet we can sustain military operations in the most inflammatory lands on earth, spending precious tax dollars, in addition to convincing others to counter-attack when possible....

It's not really wild to imagine this technology trickle down bringing small drones to your local LE neighborhood in the near future. They're on the borders now.

Fun facts on bombing
Number of Countries Obama has Bombed 6: Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, Libya

Number of Countries Bush Jr. Bombed 3: Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan

Number of Countries Clinton bombed 7:Iraq, Somalia, Croatia, Bosnia. Sudan. Afghanistan, Yugoslavia

Number of Countries Bush Sr. Bombed 5: Iraq, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Libya, Panama

What is so funny to me is that the people who claim to be more pro war support the people that bomb less and the people who claim to be more anti war support the people who bomb. Isn't it ironic? Don't you think?

hate to burst your bubble but bush bombed somalia, yemen as well. and, lets not forget all of our secret wars, so your "stats" really don't add up to anything, especially since the bushes killed far more people. hundreds of thousands of iraqis in two wars alone? obama and clinton couldn't touch that number.
12:18 PM on 07/03/2011
Nope try again defender of the democratic party

Bush did not Bomb Yemen, Bush gave weapons to yemen to kill people themselves
I did not count proxy attacks, otherwise the democtraic president's would have a few more on the list

But I admit, he did bomb Yemen
So Bush 4, Obama 7

And what UN mandate are we citing here?

Oh wait the U.S. and NATO will cite UN rules and laws when they point fingers at other nations and ignore them when they do illegal things...

DOUBLE STANDARD!
