Beyonce 'Best Thing I Never Had' Video Features Lingerie, Wedding (VIDEO)

The best thing Beyonce never had? Well, clothing, for starters...

Actually, it's an unnamed man who scorned her back in 1998, according to the brand spankin new video for her latest single, "The Best Thing I Never Had." The second track off her new album, "4," which premiered at number one on the Billboard Charts, the song is a ballad of love and revenge, with her lingerie moments matched to vindictive lines, and later, her wedding (not to Jay-Z, mind you) touching on the positive outcome of her heart break.

It is, to say the least, quite the transition from her first single off the album, "(Girls) Run The World."

There is something that makes me chuckle quite a bit. Why is it that so many Black women feel that they need to 'lighten and straighten" up their hair to be attractive? It's so mindboggling. You have Beyonce, MJBlige, JHudson, and countless other Black women doing this. Why? Do they believe that it will make them appear from another race, be more pleasing to the eye? These women have powerful voices, thus it would be nice to see them "au naturel".

And why do white women tan to darken their skin? Or wear extensions, stratighten their curly air or colour their hair or get nose jobs. Really?? There are many other black women that are dark skinned with curly hair. Let people be who they want to be - whatever makes them comfortable.
So think about what other races are doing instead of just attacking black women next time you have a little "chuckle".
