Josh Kroeger Injury Video: Baseball Player Shatters Knee During Celebration

FAIL: Baseball Celebration Goes Horribly Wrong

You might say Josh Kroeger pulled a Bill Gramatica.

After the New Orleans Zephyrs, a Florida Marlins Triple A affiliate, fought back to win Monday night's Independence Day showdown with the Omaha Storm Chasers with a ninth inning walk-off double, Kroeger stormed the field with the rest of his teammates.

Unfortunately, it was downhill from there, as Kroeger's excitement was undoubtedly cut short after he hit the ground with a major knee injury suffered during the celebration.

"He jumped up; the guy moved away," Zephyrs Manager Greg Norton told The Times-Picayune. "[The knee] buckled."

Kroeger is the Zephyrs' leading RBI producer and is tied for the most home runs on the team, so going down this way is especially painful.

As the announcer put it, "That is just difficult to look at."
