Rachel Weisz's First Bulgari Jasmin Noir Perfume Ad Drops (PHOTO)

Rachel Weisz is making headlines again -- no, not for another super-stealth wedding ceremony. The actress stripped down for Bulgari's latest fragrance, Jasmin Noir.

It's a sort of unexpected pairing...then again, we never thought we'd see Kirsten Dunst, she of the "Spiderman" trilogy and downtown hipster style, lolling around naked with a lion in the name of Bulgari perfume either.

The full campaign, lensed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, will hit glossies in August, Women's Wear Daily writes.

In the meantime, see a preview shot of the new Mrs. Craig taking her turn, like Dunst and Julianne Moore before her, lying naked with a live animal for the Bulgari brand.

I wonder what her stylist was thinking when they decided to let the eyebrows go all the way around the side of her head. Typically, they pluck to an end exactly where the eye stops and the face begins.

Tons of makeup. And careful lighting. And Photoshop.

Barely looks like her.

Your micro-bio is either half-empty or half-full

HP, please don't use the word "drop" to mean "comes out". I know it's shorter, but it is seriously annoying.

It is "industry speak" for anything from new music, books, and apparently advertising. It makes those outside the industry feel more like an insider.

No wonder women have such poor body image! Even a stunner like R.W. isn't beautiful enough by the fashion industry's standards.
BTW, if u zoom in on that hand, it is so unnatural, it's creepy. Whose hand can curve at the wrist like that?
12:27 AM on 07/08/2011
she doesn't look herself on that picture, in fact if her name wasn't on it I wouldn't no who that is.
06:56 PM on 07/07/2011
It is the imperfection of her features that makes her so captivating to look at, but because the fashion industry doesn't understand that, they photoshop away all her charm.
07:32 PM on 07/07/2011
Agree. That is over the top photo shopping. Looks nothing like her.

Well said... artificial and plastic. The real Rachel is a beauty. I don't know who or what that is in the ad.

This is Rachel Weisz? I wouldn't have known if the banner didn't mention it. What a pity that the fashion industry as well as the entertainment industry wants women to have the "Picture of Dorian Gray" syndrome. She is one of the extremely rare actresses that looks naturally attractive. When is the pursuit of youth and staying frozen in time at 19 going to end? I wish that I could say that this is a beautiful print ad, but it just looks bizarre.

She looks a million times better in the thumbnail picture! I can't understand why some advertisers think that removing all of someone's pores and natural lines looks good! Don't get me wrong I don't think that a little photoshopping is wrong, removing a wrinkle here and there but making skin look so plastic and fake? Unattractive!

What's with the gigantic perfume bottle? It ruins the spread.

I agree. Overzealous photoshopping aside, this ad is a mess. Weird perspective (distorts her body). Weird cropping (the lion looks like a furry pillow at first glance). And wth is that giant perfume bottle doing floating in front of her chest? If they are going for kitschy, they should really make it more obvious.

I think it's strategic cover to hide some of her ladyparts.
