Nicole Richie is heading back to television as a celebrity mentor on NBC's "Fashion Star," the Hollywood Reporter writes.
The former reality TV starlet will guide contestants as they vie for a multimillion-dollar contract to start their own fashion label. Hosted by Elle Macpherson, the show also features Jessica Simpson acting as a mentor to contestants, who can certainly learn from her billion-dollar success in the retail world.
Richie, on the other hand, is still known more for her hippie-chic style (she wears those bug-eyed glasses like it's nobody's business), despite success with her fashion lines, Winter Kate and House of Harlow 1960.
Designer John Varvatos will also act as a mentor on the show. No word yet on an air date.
