It's here, it's finally here. The official trailer has arrived for the hotly anticipated Sarah Palin documentary "The Undefeated" by Steve Bannon, slated for release next Friday, July 15. Bannon covers Palin's entire life, hoping to show how her highly visible presence developed and why she's made some of the choices she has, on and off the campaign trail. As far as the trailer shows, the film will have the appropriate ingredients for a thrillride: dramatic music, quick cuts between interviews and grainy campaign footage. It portrays Palin as--to borrow a word from John McCain--a maverick, who is willing to stand up to anyone and overturn whatever obstacles stand in her way in order to realize her goals.
The movie was independently financed by Victory Film Group and filmmaker Steve Bannon contributed $1 million of his own money to the project. Two versions of the final film will see the light of day, one for general audiences and an unedited version that contains anti-Palin interviews form Matt Damon, Bill Maher, David Letterman and more.
