Olive Garden has updated its kids' menu by getting rid of french fries and milkshakes and adding grapes and fruit smoothies. The smoothies, available in strawberry, wild berry, and peach-mango, consist of a frozen blend of fruit puree and non-fat yogurt.
These new menu items may be healthier, but kids shouldn't fret too much if they are craving carbs or something fried--there are still plenty of options. The kids' menu choices are:
- Create Your Own Pasta! (pick a pasta shape and pick a sauce)
- Macaroni & Cheese
- Cheese or Pepperoni Pizza
- Cheese Ravioli
- Chicken Fingers & Pasta
Fatty or not, all of these items are better than the chain's now-infamous sangria for toddlers.
