Will & Kate Headline BAFTA 'Brits To Watch' Event (PHOTOS)

British and Hollywood royalty converged at Los Angeles' Belasco Theatre on Saturday night as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hit the BAFTA "Brits To Watch" event. 42 up-and-coming talents from across the pond mingled with the headlining couple and a slew of red carpet regulars like Blake Lively, Jennifer Lopez and Nicole Kidman.

For the occasion, Catherine picked a lilac McQueen dress (that we definitely spied earlier in the week) paired with earrings she borrowed from Queen Elizabeth and a Jimmy Choo clutch and sandals.

William, who is also president of BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts), looked nothing less than dapper in his bow tie. He reportedly began his speech by saying, "Before I start, I'd just like to thank Colin Firth for my opening line: I have a voice," a reference to "The King's Speech."

In this picture arriving at the Belasco Theater in L.A., it looks like Kate's engagement ring is about to fall off her finger. It's down to her first knuckle! Have that thing sized again.

Not so much into watching royals. Has been interesting to me to watch 30 billion in UK top stock investments wiped out today though.
Appears they have had a worse than expected trade deficit, all well as being affected by the chaos breaking lose due to Italy, the US, and China.

Oh my gosh, could our group of Hollywood people look worse! Yuck! Who picked out their clothes?! Did they forget about combing their hair? How embarrassing!
Kate & William were the ones that looked like movie stars! The contrast was incredible!!! Shape up Hollywood people!

Royal Tour Extended – to the International Space Station

The Royal Tour of William and Kate is continuing courtesy of the shuttle Endeavour, which was hijacked last month and flown to the Moon. Most recently monitored on Copernicus Crater, space provocateurs and former NASA engineers Herb Mellon and Mike Higgins reportedly flew back to Earth to give the royal duo passage to the International Space Station.
