Joel McHale & Melissa McCarthy In 'Emmy Training Day' (VIDEO)

You might think that announcing the Emmy nominees is easy, but you would be wrong... dead wrong.

Last year, Joel McHale did the honors and now, he's passing the torch on to Melissa McCarthy of "Bridesmaids," but not before training her within an inch of her life. As the training commences, the teacher and student seem to form a bond, albeit one that never quite helps McHale realize which wedding movie it was that McCarthy stole the show in.

The sketch was written and directed by comedy partners Paul Downs and Lucia Aniello of "The Paul Downs Syndrome." You can check out more of their work here.

I think Melissa McCarthy is hilarious. My wife and I watch Mike & Molly all the time -- probably because it just a little creepy how much we resemble them.
