Now that Olivia Wilde is a single gal once again, she's been linked to every eligible actor in Hollywood: Justin Timberlake, Bradley Cooper and Ryan Gosling, just to name a few. But the truth is, the 'Cowboys and Aliens' actress is still getting over her recent split from her husband of eight years.
Wilde filed for divorce from Tao Ruspoli in March and now she's trying to figure out how to move on.
"The trauma of the [divorce] has been humbling, and for the first time, I'm a little bit wobbly," she told Marie Claire in their August 2011 issue. "I'm a case of arrested development, in a way -- from spending your 20s with someone who really loves to take care of you, as my husband did. But I think it's very healthy to spend time alone. You need to know how to be alone and not be defined by another person."
She said that like many relationships, the couple just grew apart.
"When the relationship becomes about working to make it work, it's lost that beauty and that optimistic bohemian sense that brought us together," she said, adding that though she and Ruspoli are no longer together, she still considers him family. "Even though it didn't work, there's nothing I regret about any of it."
Wilde, 27, got married when she was 18, and is understandably hesitant to jump back into the dating game.
"I'm opening up my heart to the idea of dating," she told Glamour back in May. "It's funny -- my friends would always come to me for romantic advice, [but] I know nothing, and things have changed since I was dating in high school! I'm really trying hard to spend this time working on myself."
But one guy she's definitely not hooking up with these days: her 'In Time' co-star Timberlake. After rumors started swirling that they were dating after they were spotted out together in Hollywood, Wilde took to Twitter to blast the bogus reports.
"Cool it, honeybadgers. We are just friends and have been for years," she wrote about her relationship with the 'Friends With Benefits' star.
