Golf, as we all know, is a fickle sport.
After a frustrating four-bogey start to his opening round at the 2011 British Open, Dustin Johnson got back on the right track and thrilled the gallery with a hole in one on the par-3 16th hole at Royal St. George's. Had Johnson's wedge shot from the 163-yard tee not struck the flagstick and landed in the in the bottom of the cup, he very well could have been looking at another bogey.
Johnson closed his round at even par.
