Ever wondered if you'll make it to the magic mark of 100? According to the latest installment of NBC's "How To Live To 100" series, there might just be a way to find out.
In this video, NBC's chief medical editor, Dr. Nancy Snyderman finds out more about telomeres -- the structures at the end of our chromosomes that shorten as people age. Telomeres, she says, are fast becoming the most exciting new research area in the science of aging. What's more, we can now get them tested to see how long we might live -- much like a stress test or a CT scan. Will Dr. Snyderman, who gets her telomeres tested, live to a 100? To find out, watch the video.
