Samantha Cameron's Midyear Style Report (PHOTOS, POLL)

The Huffington Post     First Posted: 07/14/11 02:28 PM ET   Updated: 09/13/11 06:12 AM ET

When David Cameron moved into Britain's prime minister role, Samantha Cameron assumed her duties as one of the world's leading ladies of style.

Part of the front row crowd at London Fashion Week, Sam Cam isn't afraid to have a little fun with fashion, as evidenced by her Christopher Kane galaxy-print skirt or the neon green belt she sported for a recent meeting with Queen Elizabeth. And her collection of statement necklaces continue to be the perfect, envy-inducing finishing touch on almost any outfit.

We can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings for Sam Cam -- we know she'll be as fashionable as ever.

Take a look at what she's worn this year so far. And for more of our midyear reports, check out Michelle Obama here, Charlene Wittstock here, Carla Bruni here and Bettina Wulff here.

Almost every outfit was unattractive. The royal wedding dress color was good, but the style - boring!! Where do people get the idea she's a good dresser?

Just like Michelle Obama, Samantha Cameron is never boring. Always interesting choices. Not crazy about the bright green dress.

Unlike Cherie Blair, Samantha Cameron is easier on the eyes and one elegant Prime Minister's wife.

Hey--what an adorable Lady. She knows herself and what looks great on her.
Bravo! Hurrah for the naturalness.

...most everything she wears (in these photos) looks uncomfortable.

I think much has to do with her poor posture. I have absolutely nothing against this woman nor do I find her choice in apparrel inappropriate but nothing ever looks very good on her, in my opinion. I don't find her very attractive but I was trying to determine what it is about her "style" and came to the conclusion that it is posture and perhaps shyness or lack of confidence. That being said, I do not always shine either, nor have I yet to know anyone who does and I am surrounded regularly by well dressed, attractive professional females who all have off days.

She looks best in photos 7, 8 & esp. 15. I think you're correct about the issues of posture and confidence, but it also might be the case that she's not "true to her style". She seems most at home in 15--a simple sweater and skirt set--and when more formally dressed, she's more comfortable in pant suits than in (v. fussy) dresses. Casual wear and, for formality, pant suits seem to suit her best. (For formality that requires dressing up, she might be more comfortable in a pencil or A-line skirt paired with either a blouse or thin sweater as opposed to a dress. If she has to wear a dress, something with clean lines and a bit of movement. She also should either to with a larger size shoe and/or forego heels over an inch.)

Oddly, I find she's attractive just from the perspecitive that she comes off as an entirely decent person. :)

She's figured out what works for her and is mostly consistent with her looks.  In the photos above anyway she's wearing some very expensive dresses, which is fine, she has her own income and both she and David come from private wealth.
