Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony Divorcing: Singer, Actor Break Up

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are divorcing.

The couple, married since 2004, released a statement to People Magazine about their split.

"We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time."

Parents to three-year old twins, Max and Emme, the couple dated first in 1999; following their breakup, Lopez dated and married Chris Judd in 2001, with the marriage lasting only nine months. Then Lopez dated Sean Combs, aka Diddy, and then Ben Affleck. In the meantime, Anthony married former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres before they split, as well.

Lopez and Anthony began dating again in 2004 and were married soon after. Back in February, Lopez said Anthony wanted more kids together.

This kind of game is not new on the part of Jennifer Lopez. She has a history of jumping from one man to another. Look how she left Ben Affleck for Marc Anthony, and before that, Sean Combs for Chris Judd. JLo is nothing but a ambitious, self-centered "player" who likes to use men to gain publicity for herself. And what makes people think that it was Marc who cheated on her? how do we know that it wasn't her who cheated on him?

I wish all couples handled their divorce as well as the two are appearing to do. I hope they keep it amicable and the public out of their private issues. When spouses, partners, lovers, start throwing dirt always signals to me, they are the stuff on the bottom of shoe you have to wipe off. Always reminds me of the 'pros' that have sexual relations with a celebrity and say they thought he loved them. What?

She wanted the huge Spanish Speaking Media and Worldwide Audience; so, she married empires together with her husband. This year she became a host on American Idol which pays her huge sums of money. She has had some wondrous rejuvenati­on. She looks great. She can run her media empire alone and she will. There are joys to long personal relationships/commitment­s that she may never know because fame, business and wealth can overtake any human.
