For all the epic Deathly Hallows madness going down this week, it'd be understandable if you hadn't paid much attention to the rest of Hollywood in a while. So, in case you're unaware, take note: there are other films coming out this summer. In fact, Paramount and Marvel have their own gigantic hero film on its way, and have put forth a generous offering of clips to get you excited for their flick, too.
Actually, as you'll see in the newly released scenes from "Captain America: The First Avenger," Harry Potter and the Captain share some striking similarities. Both begin as young, energetic mighty mites, ready to take on responsibility far greater than their years might indicate they could handle. They're chosen ones, with unique powers. Both Harry Potter and Captain America are the world's last hope against insane madmen bent on global destruction. And both of their enemies have striking faces: Harry's Voldemort has no nose, while Captain America's Red Skull has some serious hue issues.
And if those parallels still don't convince you that the Chris Evans-starring film is worth seeing, perhaps the way he flings that iconic, badass shield will do the trick.
