Gwen Stefani Launching Harajuku Mini Kids' Line For Target

The Huffington Post   First Posted: 07/18/2011 2:27 pm Updated: 09/17/2011 5:12 am

Songstress-turned-seamstress Gwen Stefani is set to launch a children's fashion line in collaboration with Target, Women's Wear Daily reports.

Dubbed "Harajuku Mini," the collection will include products for babies, children and tweens, priced from $3.99 to $29.99. The wares will give kids a taste of the Stefani's playful, Japan-inspired aesthetic.

Stefani should already have a good perspective on the kind of stuff kids want: besides dressing her own trendy tots Kingston and Zuma, Stefani has brought them along on the runway and has also spent some time hanging with blogger-wunderkind Tavi.

The first installment of Harajuku Mini hits stores and Target.com on November 13.

If only the clothes were being sold by an ethical retailer. Target clothing is made with slave labor and they donate to groups that promote inequality.

I could read 'owlbreath's' comment since I am one of his/her fans. Evidently, it's not going to get posted, so as a courtesy, I'm going to attempt to post....I'm not the only who is boycotting Target.

"I have not been in Target since it was revealed that the owner
fights against equal rights for LGBT community. I am surprised
that Gwen lends her name to this company."

Gwen Stefani does to me what Justin Beiber does to preteen girls. *sighs*

Sorry Gwen, I don't shop at Target anymore after I learned that they were donating to Michele Bachmann's campaign.

Unlike many celebrities who just put their names on stuff, she's actually a talented designer. I bet this stuff will be really cute.
