LulzSec Hacks 'The Sun,' Redirects Site To Fake Murdoch Death Story

Hacker group LulzSec has reportedly hacked the website of Rupert Murdoch-owned British tabloid The Sun. The homepage appeared to be redirecting to a fake story about Murdoch's death with the headline "Media Moguls Body Discovered [sic]".

the twitter #murdochmeltdownmonday is quite an entertaining read. i've followed lulzsec off and on. they're a rather entertaining bunch. i don't consider them "awful". if you read what they've posted some of it is pretty darned sensible (regarding lousy site security), some juvenile...i am glad they came out of retirement for this one!

Looks like they're going to do another wiki, like the one on AnonLeaks; and the government isn't happy one of its sacred cows got hit.  I'm going to be watching for this leak:  I bet there's some great dirt on it.  I still own a wheat farm in NoDak, and the boys from Monsanto don't like us at all because we won't even try their GM; the cost is prohibitive, once you try it they can stop you from selling a regular crop because it may contain some of theirs by accident, and most overseas markets won't touch it.  Most every other crop group has caved in, but not wheat.

Have you seen the documentary The World According to Monsanto? They've pulled some terrible dirty tricks. I've been following those $OB's for years. Thank god you haven't given in--stay strong because people are waking up and turning against a lot of what Monsanto does. Wikileaks surprised me with cables about our gov. pushing GMOs in the EU and all those Indian cotton farmers committing suicide because of the GM seed!! Last year, GMO corn failed to make seed in South Africa-wheat could also fail to make heads.

I think on pbs, maybe Frontline, they showed corn farmer's who were sued by
Monsanto just for being near other fields with their patented seeds, that Might float over to them. And with it's tons of attorneys it threatens to bankrupt any farmer who dares to fight them, and even the few that do usually end up spending a ton and giving in [ as it can take years in court.....something that has to help Big Business and greedy lawyers, right !? ]

and of course many in Congress are paid off to keep it this way......this is not capitalism, or the free market, it's domination by the elite and their corporations, as if they didn't have enough already.....NUTS !

It was a simple java script injection, so if you're running no script on Mozilla it won't redirect and you can see it.

why.....how many body bags have the US and England, Germany, etc. suffered
because of the Middle East Blunders, PUSHED by Murdoch and pals ?
How many Trillions wasted ? $$$$$$$

I'd say they deserved far far worse.....too bad the Constitution
prohibits "cruel and unusual punishment "......it would be so
fair, so just, for the Murdoch family and allies....
