Tony Hall For Mayor: SF Hopeful Releases First Campaign Ads (VIDEO)

Tony Hall

It’s November or bust -- SFGate just found the first two mayoral campaign ads of the race. They come to us from former supervisor Tony Hall. (Check them out below.)

For those of you wondering who Tony Hall is, here’s what we learn about him from the videos:

- Pension reform is his bread and butter.
- He rebuilt Harding Park and Ocean Avenue.
- He doesn’t affiliate himself with a political party.
- He’s in a band.
- He has 3,427 children.

Hall is a long-time local and, like the background music in his campaign ads, he’s decidedly old school. He has a focus on small businesses, neighborhoods and parks. And he’s the lead singer in a society-circuit band called Tony Hall and The Hallmarks. (Hey-oh!)

Take a look at the videos below and let us know what you think of our new candidate in the comments.

Tony I can tell you from here...It's not going to fly. Your image whether or not you are trying to project it registers, tough guy, cop, John Wayne, Reagan, establishment. Lose the jackets! Go jeans and t-shirt with a little Patagonia for the commercials. Hike in Muir Woods (back drop), be a regular guy that people want for a neighbor. Recycle, talk about equality and the environment, diversity and making an affordable city for all to live here. Right now you look a little stiff .

Call Jack Davis and fix this or you are throwing your money down the toilet. If you don't know who Jack Davis is you're in bigger trouble than I thought.

yuk.
when someone says they don't belong to a political party in SF, that means they are really a republican, but know they won't get elected if they admit it.

In San Francisco, when someone says they are a "progressive" it means they only represent the left wing fringe groups.

Tony Hall is the only SF mayoral candidate giving straight answers and asking the questions the other candidates don't want to hear. He has my vote.
