Parmigiano-Reggiano may be the King of Cheese, but even royalty needs a new set of clothes every so often.
German advertising agency Kolle Rebbe revamped the too-familiar hard cheese wedge by creating an oversized pencil shape. The kits included a pencil sharpener that functioned as a grater. The pencil "lead" contained three different flavors—truffles, pesto and chili.
Only 500 sets of cheese pencils were made, and they sold out in two weeks.
