News earlier this week that Karl Rove's PAC group Crossroads GPS had closed a six-figure Spanish-language ad buy in 10 cities didn't take long to reach Democratic leadership. Politico reports the DNC has launched its first ad of the 2012 season -- and, no
surprise, it's in Spanish. Officials told Politico the buy is "many times larger" than the earlier GOP ad.
Denver, Albuquerque, Reno, Las Vegas, Tampa, Orlando, Miami, and D.C. should all expect to be inundated by both the Republican ad and the Democrat's response.
In the 2008 election, Hispanic voters favored Obama 67% to 31%, according to The New York Times. A margin the Republican National Committee will spend much money attempting to diminish in 2012.
