Actor Jim Meskimen has a knack for celebrity impressions, and in order to show them off he's made a video performing an incredibly long monologue from Shakespeare's "Richard III."

In under four minutes, Meskimen's final tally is 25 different voices. He seems to effortlessly cover a ton of ground, from Ricky Gervais to George W. Bush to Morgan Freeman. We're sure it took enormous studying and practice, but homeboy doesn't break a sweat at all in this performance.

Meskimen currently has a show, "Jimpressions," running July 29th and 30th, at The Acting Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Walken, Nicholson, DeNiro, & Allen are on the "never funny anymore, ever" List.
Props on Keitel, Clooney & Giamatti.

Impressions aren't "funny". They are either accurate or they are not.

Agreed. I've never seen anyone even *try* Giamatti before, so that was a revelation.

Listening without watching the screen is best...

Mostly quite good. A few need work, though they're all certainly far better than I could do. Craig Ferguson would ask (as would I) if the impression of him was a Pakistani.

That's what the comment section is for. Commenting. I bet you think your retort was clever. It wasn't. In fact it is a rather common self reverential response.

He's good,...but did anyone see Sting in this face even before you clicked on the video?

And he doesn't have a show on TBS?

Impressions are the last bastion of a desperate performer. They are on par with ventriloquist and magic acts.

How are impressions "funny"? Either they are accurate or they aren't. What is funny might be what the performer makes the celebrity say or do, what situation he puts the celebrity in. Meskimen chose a Shakespearean monologue, safely betting nobody was paying attention to what was actually being said. It misses the mark entirely.
