USC running back Marc Tyler was suspended earlier this week as a result of comments he made to TMZ implying that he got paid to play football at USC.

Now a former Trojan is lashing out at Tyler for his poor judgement, but it might not be who you expect.

Mike Williams, who played two extremely productive seasons at wide receiver for USC before attempting to bolt early for the NFL, had some choice words for Tyler via Twitter.

This USC kid on tmz is clearly a dumbass who doesn't deserve to follow in the footsteps of the great Trojan RBs before him..less than a minute ago via Twitter for BlackBerry® Favorite Retweet Reply

Williams had the most productive season of his career last year while playing in Seattle under Pete Carroll, his former coach at USC.

USC AD Pat Haden as well as head coach Lane Kiffin publicly admonished Tyler for his comments, but as Bill Plaschke of the Los Angeles Times points out, this isn't the first time Tyler's actions have been questionable.
