I think over one month of this horseshit article that serves NO PURPOSE BUT TO TRUMPET THE EVIL CULT'S OWN BLOATED EGO TRIP ABOUT ITSELF has come to the time to take it DOWN, HP.

$cientology has used the cash it gets from Tiny Tom Cruise, Vinnie Barbarino, Will Smith and his ugly Clan, and the rest of the star-gazing, tinfoil hat-wearing acolytes to buy up vacant, marginally-historical buildings that they paint, spruce up with their Slave Labor Army from SeaOrg, and then the buildings sit VACANT - as empty as the Cult followers heads that made the purchases possible.

This is NOT A PUBLIC SERVICE OF ANY KIND.

IT IS THE CULT'S WAY OF ADVERTISING ITSELF WITH EMPTY PROMISES OF HOPE RESTORED AND FAITH PAID BACK.

I'm not a Scientologist, but I've seen these buildings and was amazed by what a wonderful job they've done at preserving these landmarks. They are increasing the community ARC based on the stable-datum found in the axioms where auditing rock-slams have become a thing of the time-track past that's been fully handled in this sector of the galaxy. Thanks to L. Ron Hubbard discovering every single secret ever known in every universe ever created (with help of course from the 5th invader force that is stationed exactly 217 feet below the surface of mars.

Let's add the "religions" that came into the market after a set date...say, A. D. 1500, to the list of taxable entities. It's too wide a loophole at present and fraught with abuse.

Religion's are like fast food restaurants. How do they grow and become more relevant?? Real estate. Example: the Catholics are to real estate what Napoleon was to the art of war. As soon as they heard of "new" land...they took it by storm. The grew into what they are today not because their teachings were attractive but because they knew how to acquire land. I dont blame any religion for trying to follow this example...its the name of the game.

This is ridiculous, the church of scientology is actually helping the community by revamping these older building that no one can afford to maintain anymore. If instead, they were building from the ground up, closing local business, then it would be another complaint. I don't see why people always have the need to make everything they do look bad, it's the easy target. What a shame, i can't imagine being a part of something that is always getting attacked, must be incredibly tough.

Please stop referring to this rotten cult as a "religion," or as a "church."

This is obviously a puff piece that offers no new information. These Scientology buildings have been there for a while, and honestly, they do a lot to make Hollywood a better place. A lot of historic buildings have been restored, and beautiful architecture have been created, all to be put to good use.

I'm sure the egyptian pharaohs said much the same thing about the beautiful pyramids they built -- "hey, they're to be put to good use, what's a few thousand slaves".

Oh how I'll enjoy the reading the 100's of comments that will soon appear here. Especially, the cliche "I've seen these buildings and was amazed by what a wonderful job they've done at preserving these landmarks." or something similar.

The buildings are largely empty, as are the promises of the cult of death, and as the cranium of the alcoholic pill-popper that dreamed up the pyramid scheme that this silly article mistakenly refers to as a "church."
