Executives are always looking for fresh marketing and outreach strategies to improve their businesses. Twitter and Facebook were quickly adopted by the corporate world, and now Google+ is well on its way to becoming the next social media craze.
According to recent estimates by comScore, published by the Wall Street Journal, Google+ grew to 20 million users in the first three weeks following its debut, despite the fact that the service remains invitation-only and launched as a "field trial." If this is any indication of future growth, then organizations will eventually need to establish a Google+ presence and strategy.
Although Google currently bars businesses from establishing profile pages, individuals are certainly allowed to represent an organization, and some are doing just that.
