In an audio file obtained by CBS4, a Denver Police officer arrested for allegedly driving under the influence berates his arresting officer for not extending him preferential treatment.

Silverthorne police arrested Jesse Sandoval in February 2010 after the off-duty Denver officer drove his car off the road. A report from the Denver Office of the Independent Monitor, released Thursday, argues Sandoval "received inadequate discipline for his conduct towards his arresting officers."

Channel 7 News reports that Sandoval received a 26-day suspension for his DUI. Sandoval had a blood alcohol content of 0.246 percent, more than three times the legal limit, and a loaded firearm in the passenger compartment.
