Stylist Tabitha Simmons spilled the news last week writing on Twitter: "Now going to see the marchesa collection! Can't wait as they are having a show this season. I will keep you posted."
And on Sunday, My Fashion Database wrote, "I can't help but imagine how beautiful Marchesa's runway show is going to be this season!" to which @MarchesaFashion responded, "Easy on that =) We'll announce soon =P"
Marchesa hasn't assembled a runway show since its Spring 2007 season debut, when models were sent strutting down a dramatic mirrored runway. Since then, designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig have presented their seasonal collections tableau-style, with models standing against a backdrop or up on pedestals...and weeks (or days) later their creations have ended up on whatever big-name red carpet.
We reached out to Marchesa's P.R., but so far, no comment.
Guess we'll find out soon. =P
