NYC Man Makes Free Beats In Union Square, Strangers Perform (VIDEO)

WATCH: Man Offers Free Beats, Strangers Perform

A man in New York City went to Union Square with a sign that said "Free Beats" and started to beat box.

Strangers could then take the other mic and rap, dance, sing, read poetry or do anything, really.

A few choose to rhyme about President Obama (the video was shot 48 hours after his historic election, and you may remember Union Square was the site of some serious celebration), others wildly dance, one man reads poetry, and a little girl sings "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star".

It's all a very fun reminder of how diverse a place New York is, and just how many talented (and strange) people call it home.
