Olivia Wilde At 'Cowboys & Aliens' Premiere: Rad Or Bad? (PHOTOS, POLL)

Olivia Wilde stepped out to the premiere of "Cowboys & Aliens" during Comic-Con on Saturday wearing this season's Dolce & Gabbana It Dress...not in the popular white version, but in (egad!) the darkest of hues, which made her look like she got lost on the way to a meeting of the occult.

We all know black lace is the gateway to Goth dressing -- take it from this writer who spent an hour with a box of L'Oréal Superior Preference Hair Color in "Purest Black" last night -- and only those committed to the trend would step out wearing it late-July.

She is too beautiful to wear something like that. It does NOTHING for her. Dolce & Gabbana had ton of vintage white lace appropriate for summer and she picked THIS??....this is just too Gothic and not summery at all.

It looks like recycled black lace curtains, definitely not her high style moment. I sometimes wonder if these celebrities own a full length mirror and if so, do they bother to look at themselves in the whole outfit? Or does someone talk them into wearing such ugly clothes? Surely she has the funds to do better. TJ Maxx is always a good choice if she's low a little short of money.
