Virginia Teen To Justin Bieber: 'Be My Prom Date' (VIDEO)

One Less Lonely Prom - that's the title of a website by Cady Eimer, a teenager from a small town in Virginia, who is hoping to catch the attention of Canadian pop/R&B singer, songwriter and actor Justin Bieber.

"It's a simple question, and a huge dream of Cady's," reads a message on the website. "All she wants from her senior year (2011-2012. She is currently a junior) in high school is to take her celebrity crush, Justin Bieber, to her last prom."

According to Cady's mom, Cheri Eimer, her daughter came up with the idea last year.

"She is a go-getter. I have to give it to her," Cheri Eimer said in an email to The Huffington Post. "She is determined to get this out and, yes, it is her hope that this goes somewhere." Cheri added, "If she spent as much time on her school homework as she did this . . . "

Cady and Justin, both 17, have actually met twice -- once in Greensboro, NC, and then again in Norfolk, Virginia during a soundcheck. Perhaps the third time will be a charm for this girl from Poquoson, Va.

A crazy idea? Perhaps not. In April 2010, country music artist Taylor Swift went to Auburn University in Alabama, and surprised two students who had spent months petitioning her for a hug. Michael Wekall and Ryan Leander not only got their hugs, but the four-time Grammy-winning artist also gave them a kiss on the cheek and a live performance.

Justin Bieber's reps did not immediately reply to a request for comment from The Huffington Post today. The ball's in your court, Justin - will you go to the prom with Cady?

Like in honors history one class we had to do a 2-3 minute speech on who our hero is. I picked Justin Bieber and had to read that in front of the class. When I started my speech and mention Justin Bieber people were like "oh gosh" but that did not stop me from reading my speech I kept on going and reading. Then in english class for the final we had to do a ten minute persuasive speech on any topic we wanted to do. I did why people should respect Justin Bieber. Now I am trying something that seems impossible. But if I were to fail at getting Justin Bieber to come to prom with me as a bro my social life in high school would be ruined and that would give people another reason to make fun of me like people calling me "gay" enough though I am not gay. I would like to say congradulations to Cady and more power to her. Although she did meet Justin Bieber twice I have not met Justin Bieber at all. My mother would not buy me tickets to his concert. But you may or may not know that I asked Justin Bieber to prom as a bro. And I think you should read my story and why I am asking Justin Bieber to prom. First off I have been through ALOT in my life. For one my father had died when I was only nine. Two I have been bullied my WHOLE entire life. My childhood and teen years. Now I am 16. For me going to high school everyday when everyone knows you love Justin Bieber is hard enough. But the fact of me asking him to prom was very brave on my part to do. I plan to ask this girl I really like to prom as my date but nine out of ten times she is going to say no but that is not stopping me from asking her to prom. In addition I said in the video Justin can bring Selena Gomez as his date and hopefully I will have a date to prom also. I stand up for myself and I do what ever I believe in and I do not care what anyone else thinks.

Good grief. He is a normal person. Sooner or later people have to start asking themselve why they need to hook people they don't even know into being part of their personal soap operas. Sooner or later someone is going to have to say "no". Dealing with reality is something even high school young people and marines should have already started to do. This sort of fantasy fulfillment fetish is getting to border on the nonsensical.


If you make friends they'll go with you to prom, bowling, whatever. If you can't make friends just rent one, they must have a business for that by now. AND if you can't make friends then do without until you can move somewhere where you can.

I graduated from high school 2 years ago so maybe things have changed, or maybe my high school was weird but isn't prom typically in the spring? Bit early to be looking for a date in my opinion, even if it is the Biebs; then again I asked my date to senior prom about 3 weeks before the actual event.
