Last night, Logan Morrison of the Florida Marlins certainly got quite a startle.
The Marlin's left fielder was walking in the dugout when he spotted something strange on the rail, which turned out to be a large praying mantis. He took a closer look at the insect for a moment, and at that time the praying mantis went flying at Morrison, causing him to freak out--and the announcers to not be able to contain their laughter.
As traumatizing as the experience may have been, the night turned out to be positive overall for Morrison: He ended up hitting his 16th home run of the season and the Marlins beat the Nationals 11-2.
