Surveillance video shows a 17-year-old girl smashing her car into the front entrance of an Aurora 7-11, winding up completely inside the store. No one was injured, but the damage to the store was extensive, according to 7News.
9News reports that although the "terrified" 7-11 clerk on duty heard the teen driver screaming "I'm sorry, I'm sorry" and claiming the brakes were failing in the car, Aurora Police Sgt. Jad Lanigan said that's probably not the case:
I think it's just driver inexperience. It's remarkable [nobody was hurt]. Just minutes before that, the store was packed with people.
The 17-year-old girl will be cited for careless driving, according to Fox31.
