We all have them, those books that you feel changed some aspect of you or shaped you as a person.

Lately, we've been curious as to what they are. We asked our readers on Facebook and Twitter what books changed their lives. We were a bit surprised to receive so many children's books as answers, though childhood is definitely the time when we're most susceptible to having our lives changed.

Ours are "The Phantom Tollbooth" and "Nine Stories."

Another great story about the Glass family, "Franny and Zooey" follows a newly religious Franny through a brief mental breakdown. The story reveals much of the Glass family's odd background.
