Miley Cyrus: New Tattoos Keep Adding Up (PHOTOS)

Miley Cyrus is growing up so fast! The 18-year-old singer got yet another tattoo this weekend, and this one makes a statement.

“All LOVE is equal,” Cyrus tweeted Friday, with a picture showing an equals sign on her ring finger. Her new ink is reportedly a statement supporting marriage equality.

Her other tats include a dream catcher on her torso; the phrase “Just Breathe” on her ribcage; an anchor on her wrist; the word “LOVE” on her ear; and a cross and heart on her hand.

Miley's brother is almost totally covered with tattoos and I wonder if that is what she will end up doing. He career seems to have slowed down and if this is a way for her to stay in the "news" she may call a news conference each time she adds a new tattoo. Look up her brother who is in a band and see how covered he is with tattoos. Her father was on the view a few weeks ago and has a huge tattoo covering one of his arms with a face of an Indian. Personally, I don't like tattoos.

A friend of mine, who works at an Ann Arbor tattoo parlor, says she was in this past weekend, getting a giant tat on her back. I'm surprised there's no mention of that here. It sort of dwarfs all her other tats put together.

...the only problem i have with this is that she calls herself a Christian. You can't say you believe something that is in complete contradiction to the bible and call yourself a Christian. Please, call yourself politically correct, gay activist anything but a Christian because you are not! All kinds of people may disagree with what we believe but at least we KNOW what we believe and stand up for it....we don't twist it into something everyone will except so that we can be popular on twitter. Hot or Cold Miley, hot or cold.

This is a far and desperate cry from a "meaningful tattoo". If the media wants to show us some meaningful body ink, how about giving demi lovato's "stay strong" tattoo some attention. She has hers because it represents something FOR HER. And, it looks classy and is well done. Miley has yet to show that her hand tattoos have any sort of class, sense, or taste attatched to them. When she does this, maybe i will begin to respect her for them. Until then, she is just a careless girl who is getting ugly tattoos in the wrong places.

Except for the (awful, poorly done) ones on her fingers, I really like her tattoos - especially "Just Breathe." Pretty touching tribute to her friend. Four feathers on the dreamcatcher for her four siblings is a thoughtful bit, too.

And tattoos are only as permanent as you are. If sagging tattoos are your biggest problem when you're 80, you're a lucky one indeed.
