Jake Gyllenhaal In 'End Of Watch': Patrolling As LAPD (PHOTOS)

Jake Gyllenhaal has fought in wars both foreign and ancient on the big screen, and for his next film, he'll be tackling the war at home on the Los Angeles city streets.

The Oscar-nominee stars in "End of Watch," taking on the role of a LAPD officer, partnering up alongside Michael Pena. The two will be longtime partners, while Anna Kendrick will play Gyllenhaal's wife and Natalie Martinez will take on the role of Pena's love interest.

While researching for the film on a police ride along, Gyllenhaal and Pena actually witnessed a gang shooting, which sent one member to the hospital.

Gyllenhaal last appeared in another sort of crime drama, "Source Code," about a military officer who gets stuck in a time traveling device until he can defuse a bomb and unravel a terrorist plot that keeps destroying a major train line.

Jake looks seriously hot in that form fitting police uniform!! But I have to admit, from the back side, Jake isn't sporting much of a butt. Yeah he has a hump but it's more on the flat side. But I would still be more then happy to handcuff him to my bed while performing a body search on him! LOL!!

Oh! the movie that made 80 million bucks? in America alone. Some disaster, It also seems to skyrocket his and Heath Ledger careers. Heath did a great job playing the "JOKER" in batman. It's a damn shame he died so young, Hollywood lost a good Star, and his daughter lost a daddy. Your homophobic remark is SAD.

I can't vouch for the success of the movie and I have never seen it. I only know he has become the butt [no pun intended] of gay jokes ever since. For instance Lance Armstrong was presenting an award and saw Jake in the front row. He said 'jake' WHAT ARE YOU DOING UP HERE ? I THOUGHT YOU LIKED IN THE REAR! It got a big laugh but Even I thought it was in bad taste.
