such deep thought... i like the way Radhanath Swami presents the sublime knowledge of Vedas in such simple understandable words...

I am impressed by his humble nature.. i attended his lecture recently and believe me you it was a great experience in itself..

The Power of these words is inadverantly displayed by the revolution it brings in the life of those who apply these principles. The words can only be powerful if they are 'PURE' imbued with the desire to help others acheive the highest goal of life to love, to be gratful to God. It's so incredible to see someone so selfless. I have been following up with his sites from quite sometime and everytime I read his article or hear his talk, I felt sense of urgency to change the attitude that is deeply rooted within us to exploit others. What an amazing definition of Seva...

Krishna (God) and God Consciousness is very very precious, a sublime gift and at the same time a rare privilege, which only a few souls can get and realize it for what it is. When our internal desire for self/god realization is stronger, we will be able to separate the wheat from the chaff but when our desire to lord over what we survey is predominant, that ability to differentiate the good from the bad will be muted to say the least. So when charlatans pose as "spiritualists",some people, due to their weaker/not-so-noble subtle desires will naturally follow them. Just like one should judge an activity by its result, one must judge a spiritual person by his/her character backed by scriptures. When there are people who want to get cheated, there will also be cheaters!!

Here Radhanath Swami is explaining what true wisdom means. Its amazing to hear him.

I dont understand why people are always criticizing good people. Its true that people out of envy just cannot stand good people.

Radhanath Swami has changed lives of millions of people. He is a genuine person who gives to the world real knowledge of Vedic Scriptures. He is taking all these efforts without any ulterior motives. He works tirelessly for the benefit of others.

Still there are people who will just see faults in others. They just want to make others believe in their baseless arguments.

I find it quite interesting to note how the comments that appear in the first few hours after Radhanatha's articles appear tend to be thoughtful, but the later comments mostly express shallow admiration.

Some people in the Hare Krishna movement are upset at the way Radhanatha markets himself. One technique is that his disciples go around pretending to be regular folks to project a certain mainstream image when promoting him. It's rather pathetic to see it in action. It must take a few hours for his discples to get here, giving the regulars a head-start on comments.

An excerpt from one of Radhanatha's recent internal memos is quite amusing:

* The Program is not a love fest for Guru, but the purpose is to attract people to the program so that they look forward to this event year after year. The risk we have is people will see a demonstration of love for the Guru which is hard for them to understand. It looks strange to the people and they feel that they don't want to get attracted to us because they don't want to become so gung-ho as us
* Please be careful about shouting out or saying the words "Jai Gurudev", "Savior of humanity", "Gurudev ki Jai" "Haribol" and other exclamations that come across as the language of a fanatic. Remmeber many of the people are coming for the first time for a Hare Krishna Program .
* No tilak
* No offering obeisances at the program within and without the premises.
* Please do not surround Radhanath Maharaj or hold his bag or bring him his shoes etc
* Please do not keep staring at Maharaj.

The whole list of rules, which is clearly meant to disguise the Hare Krishnas way of conduct, is prefaced with this warning:

"Prabhuji has conveyed that extremely strict action will be taken if any of us are found violating these rules."

Isopanishad says the Lord fulfills everyone's desires. I can't imagine wanting disciples, so why should I have that power? Radhanatha's many disciples betray his lack of purity.

I personally know Radhanath and many of his GBC friends well enough to not trust him or any of them. Sorry.

wisdom is very rare in this world now.. people are just fighting, there is no honesty left, there is just quarrel and hipocracy at around.
Amidst all these, Radhanath Swami's word come like a soothing breeze. 2 mins have really changed my opinion about Swami's. i can see a honest, sincere person here.

Its always amazing to see how Radhanath Swami can pack the essence of volumes of knowledge into a few lines he speaks.

Its incredible to see how he not only endured great hardships to reach this level of spiritual realization, he works with the same or even more enthusiasm to share it with others.

His book The Journey Home is one of the best books of the century...
