Former NBA player Darius Miles was arrested on Wednesday at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport and accused of trying to bring a loaded gun through security, according to the St. Louis Dispatch.
NewsChannel 5 confirmed that he was booked and released from St. Louis County jail and released around 9:15 p.m.
This isn't the first time Miles has had a run-in with the law.
Miles, the third overall pick in the 2000 draft, was arrested shortly after his last year in the NBA ended in 2009 for possession of marijuana.
In 2008, Miles was given a 10-game suspension for violating the league's Anti-Drug program.
Miles was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers and also played for the Portland Trail Blazers and Memphis Grizzlies. He averaged 10.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game throughout his career.
