'Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy' Trailer Released; Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy In Spy Thriller

The Oscar Front-Runner?

Sometimes just the details are enough: Trench coats, cigarette smoke, impeccable suiting, rainy London, typewriters and lots of briefcases. You say to yourself, This is going to be great.

A full length trailer of Tomas Alfredson's 'Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy' has just been released. And while the mere flourishes are enough to make your mouth water, there's a story and cast to match.

The film is based on the 1974 John le Carré book that follows an espionage veteran trying smoke out a Soviet mole from MI6, the Secret Intelligence Service. (Amazing, right?)

The cast includes nearly every evocative British actor, (Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, Toby Jones, Benedict Cumberbatch, John Hurt, Mark Strong and Stephen Graham), and of course the lead star, Gary Oldman.

This new trailer fills in the blanks, a bit--as much as possible for a spy thriller. It's sexier than the last, adding fuller drama and a love story narrative. And we thought the first one couldn't get much better!
