Schlitterbahn Water Park
With 18 waterslides, 16 pools and seven water playgrounds,
deserves to be called the king of the water parks near San Antonio. Free parking, life jackets and tubes make this a family and wallet-friendly resort.
The Longest Water Ride In The World
is a 3,600-foot water ride with raging rivers, waterfalls and waves. Launched in 2011, Schlitterbahn reports that it's the longest water ride in the world.
Slides For All Ages
The park is split into three distinct areas.

reported that flash flooding spilled over into the Schlitterbahn park and contaminated several pools in June of 2010.

With free parking, free life jackets and more than 50 rides and attractions, Splashtown has something to offer everyone in the family. Located just three minutes from downtown San Antonio, this is the closest water park to the city center.
Get Wet Or Stay Dry
At the heart of the park, enjoy the
that offers everything from gentle swells to white-capped waves. If you're looking for something quieter, ride the lazy river that surrounds the wave pool. Don't feel like getting wet? Rent one of the private cabanas that line the edge of the pool.
The Luge And The Wedgie

At only five stories tall, this straight slide gives you the chance to race your friends to the bottom.
