We're thrilled to be at BlogHer this weekend with many amazing female bloggers who've congregated in San Diego to discuss everything from cyberbullies to great blog design to social media entrepreneurship. The women we've met so far have wowed us with their intelligence, tech savvy, and willingness to bare their souls online.
This afternoon HuffPost Women and HuffPost Parents are sponsoring a conversation on an issue on all of our minds, what success means for women now. Joining Lori Leibovich, Executive Women's Editor of the Huffington Post, are Christina Norman, former CEO of OWN and Executive Editor of Huffington Post Black Voices, Janice Min, Editorial Director of The Hollywood Reporter, Jane Buckingham, founder of Trendera and author of "The Modern Girl Guides," Agapi Stassinopoulos, author of "The Seven Goddesses," and Susan Stiffelman, Parenting Columnist for HuffPost Parents.
Together we're talking about how women are redefining success. If you're in the audience, please tweet your thoughts @HuffPostWomen or comment below, and we'll loop you into the discussion. Enjoy!

We ran out of time, but thanks to all who chimed in, especially those in the audience. We hope you enjoyed the conversation as much as we did.

Lori says she's trying to be that to the women she's hiring as they start families, now that her kids are older.
Christina says she wishes she had that boss when she was a young mother starting her career.

Lori says that when she had her first child, having a female boss made a tremendous difference. When she had the baby, her boss "really took over for me," Lori says, enabling her to not feel guilty about the time she needed.

Lori agrees with Jane that the overhaul we need probably isn't going to happen for a while.

Jane says things won't really change until a new generation comes of age.
She adds, "What do I wish I had" along the way? "A mentor."

"You can't have it all," says Jane. She says she heard Gloria Steinem say at a recent event that Steinem's goal for feminism was to give women the opportunity to choose whether they want motherhood or a career. Jane says doing both full out isn't possible, but you can navigate between the two (imperfectly).

An audience member says the way we work now is totally unrealistic for many women. How can we redefine success, really?
