LONDON (Reuters) - Moody's reiterated on Wednesday that it rates France at triple-A with a stable outlook.
The comments came in response to a Reuters query after market rumors of a French sovereign credit rating downgrade, which hit French bank stocks.
Societe Generale fell more than 11 percent on the day, underperforming a 3.6 percent drop STOXX Europe 600 banking index.
