This isn't just another adorable baby animal video.

The YouTube video below features some added sweet and sentimental value by documenting a family of baby geese from their fluffy infancy to still-cute adulthood "most days" on their way to work.

While the video's info says the filmmaker "chased them around a little" some days, we're hoping they didn't chase these cuties too much!

From being gassed and sent to landfills in New York to being fed to hungry Pennsylvanians, these guys deserve a little carefree frolicking.

Can't get enough of these birds? Click here to check out a video of the beautiful, but endangered, Albatross bird.

Canada geese come to our small park in Connecticut every year..I recently got a digital camera, & took my first photos of them..2 shots of adults & older chicks. Yes, they make a mess on the walkways and grass, but the town has a Parks & Recreation Dept which should deal with it..at least clean the walkways for humans. I grew up in Brooklyn, NY..the only birds there were sparrows..people don't appreciate the beauty of what they see every day..maybe they should move to urban areas and enjoy the concrete and filth. To each his/her own.

I've also met sea gulls even though I live near Lake Erie. I like Canadian Geese because of their color.

In our park, anyone getting close to the chicks gets a wild hissing frenzy of mama and papa goose. They attack people walking by, little kids, moms with strollers, etc. Fortunately, we have some helpful border collies trained to run the geese off. It is kind of amazing to watch - they will herd the parents and chicks into the water and the parents quickly learn to head for the water once they see the dogs coming.

why don't you just leave them alone. You have a home, when you go to the park you are visiting their home.

STEWED WILD GOOSE
1/2 c. onion
1/2 c. celery
1 c. water
2 bouillon cubes
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. thyme
6 med. potatoes, quartered
1 goose

Skin out goose and remove breast portions. I only use breast. Cut meat into bite size pieces. Place goose and first 6 ingredients into slow cooker and cook 2 hours. Add potatoes and cook another 1 1/2 hours. Thicken with cornstarch.

There is nothing cute or funny about animals being chased/stressed out by an idiot guy with a video cam. Show some respect for nature and wildlife. Stay still, be patient, use the damn telephoto lens, then your work will be as adorable as your subjects.

Those were not stress filled chases in the video. I wish the video was higher quality. It's better than I can do. I used to chase a flock of ibis on the way to work on my bicycle. It was a daily morning ritual. I can safely claim that no ibis was harmed by their instinct to flock fly when I went past them. Those goslings are not being harmed by being approached by the videographer.

I agree with much of what this guy is saying. I think it is OK to eat animals and I do no intend to stop, but the monster our industry has grown and what it has grown into is sickening. I think animals and the Earth needs more protection than people. Human culture has turned suicidally dysfunctionaly ... and mean and nasty and hateful ... he is correct about that.
