Call it Carrie Bradshaw 2.0.
After spending years on "Sex and the City," playing a New York City career woman veering from one crisis to the next, with virtually no responsibility to anyone but her own self awareness, Sarah Jessica Parker is taking a next step for her next film.
In "I Don't Know How She Does It," a film based on the novel by Allison Pearson Parker will play a New York City career woman veering from one crisis to the next, with responsibility to a husband -- played by Greg Kinnear -- and two children. Harried from balancing work and family, she does her usual Sarah Jessica Parker thing, mixing exasperation and relatable comedy while wearing business attire. She even narrates the film, another hearkening to "Sex and the City."
The film, which co-stars Pierce Brosnon, Kelsey Grammer, Seth Myers, Busy Phillips, Olivia Munn and Christina Hendricks, hits theaters September 16th.
